Wildlife. Ever been eye to eye with a wild seal? Or seen kingfishers or herons swoop by at close range? Let us help you get out there at river level, experiencing nature and wildlife close up.
Scenery. The River Dart estuary is in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and you will see why. Rolling hills of woodland and pasture flank this wide and sheltered waterway.
Great Fun. Everyone loves the adventures they have on our sit-on-top-kayaks. We buzz off the wide-eyed, smiley faces that come back at the end of every trip.
Friendly advice. We will make sure you know where to find the best pubs and picnic areas depending on the tides and weather. And we'll set you off with our map and phone number. We love it here and we love sharing it with other people.
Equipment. Our gear is new and top notch and specially selected for this activity and environment. We will give you a dry bag for your things, a quality paddle and well-fitting buoyancy aid. We'll check you're well kitted out before sending you off.
Safety. Our kayaks are very stable. Soon you will be confident to explore the river, even if you’re a complete beginner. You don’t have to be an athlete or have special gear.
We monitor weather and tidal conditions to ensure your safety, and we have a safety boat on standby at all times.
