About Us

Tom started Totnes Kayaks Ltd over fourteen years ago at that time being based at Baltic Wharf in Totnes, hence the name! Being a water baby he left his corporate job travelling the world teaching for Massey Ferguson agricultural machinery to return to his home town of Totnes. Having always been on the water in either kayaks, canoes or sailboats it seemed only natural to Tom to set up a business offering others the opportunity to see South Devon at its best, from the water!

Tom is a BCU Level 3 Inland Coach and also a RYA Coastal/Yachtmaster, with numerous water based qualifications to ensure you stay safe on the water.

Will has been helping up out for  for a number of years now, and loves the fact he can get broadband at the quay!

Being in training for the rugby season and "bulking up" during the summer Will can be found pulling three kayaks up the pontoon at a go, or eating lots of cake in the van!!!
