Couples Canoe and Kayaking

Two Hour “Chill Out” £45 for 1 X Double sit on top or £57 for 2 X Single sit on tops
We operate from an amazing spot in the little south Devon village of Stoke Gabriel. From the quay you can paddle off and within a few minutes be surrounded by beautiful countryside. The views are breathtaking, and combined with the rivers wildlife - that doesn’t seem to mind kayaks - and the stillness on the river; you can chill out and let those problems drop from your shoulders.
Three Hour “Paddle to the Pub” £55 for 1 X Double sit on top or £65 for 2 X Single sit on tops
A combined adventure of secluded river paddling mixed with the excitement of discovering a riverside pub. From the quay in Stoke Gabriel we will spend time talking to you about tides and how to use these to get upriver to Tuckenhay and the Malsters arms or downriver to Dittisham and the small riverside village with pubs and cafes. It takes about an hour to get to these locations giving you an hour there for lunch/snack before heading back. You can always just pack a picnic if that works better for you!
All Day “Sharpham Experience” £65 for 1 X Double sit on top or £80 for 2 X Single sit on tops
From the quay in Stoke Gabriel we are just an hour’s paddling away from Sharpham Vineyard. Heading upriver on an incoming tide takes the load off you arms and you can enjoy a moment paddling though quiet, stunning countryside before arriving at Sharpham’s own quay. A short walk along a wooded path leads you to the café, and then into the vineyard itself. Here you can just enjoy a leisurely lunch or book onto one of the Sharpham Tours that takes in the vineyard and allow you to try the famous Sharpham wine and cheese (Cost not included in this experience). When it’s time to return, the tide will have turned and will bring you back relaxed and ready for a snooze!
Trip advisor comments include:
I booked my and other half on the 3 hour 'Paddle to the Pub' which meant we got 2 single kayaks and free reign to paddle off to the pub and back. Tom was great and showed us where to go on the map, and the kayaks were sturdy and safe for novices like us! Buoyancy aids and a dry bag were provided so really nothing more you could want. We really enjoyed our little jaunt down the river, watching the cormorants, and even saw a kingfisher (fab for a nature buff like me!).
Me and my partner had a beautiful day out kayaking. Paddled out to bow creek, stopped for a pub lunch and paddled back again! Tom was so helpful, provided all equipment and great value for money! Definitely recommend!
